Summary of misstatements - equity column not calculating pre-tax income

In the new PEG Summary of misstatements (PEGR410), the \equity\ column changes its value depending on the amounts entered in \asset\ and \liability.  Why doesn’t the \pre-tax income\ also affect \equity?  Is there a setting somewhere to change this?

Hi Jaemi.

Can you please contact the support team using the contact details provided on the support centre, so they can investigate this question with you?

Thank you,

Hi Jaemi,

If your pre-tax income is misstated then either your assets and/or liabilities are also misstated.

As Equity = Assets - Liability there is only an adjustment to equity if either assets or liabilities are also adjusted.
