How do I customize the SCORE template? Editing is locked and I was under the impression we would be able to customize the report to suit our firms needs.

I am looking to add some cells, move the signature fields and remove some page breaks. For example, every ratio has a page break at the end, even if it only takes up less than half of the page. I am forced to have a single page for each ratio and it looks ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone unless they give customization rights to purchasers.

I don’t think it is a good product based on the very limited options for customization.

Hi Kyle,

Thank you for your feedback about SCORE.

There are no page breaks between the ratio sections because each section has a keep together that attempts to keep ratio information together if possible. So if you had two ratios that only showed the first three paragraphs, both would appear on one page (because both would be able to fit). But if both could not, then the second ratio section would move automatically to the next page.

We have not had any feedback about the page breaks in SCORE to date, but are always open to suggestions for improving the product. You can submit feedback to www.jazzit.com/fixit

Design is currently looking into how the pages break within SCORE as a result of your post. Would you be able to provide us with further information on the other revisions you’d like to make so we may have Design evaluate? You can contact support with this information.

Nicollette, I have already notified the support team by email, to which I am still awaiting response. As an example, I would like the ability to add or remove cells, among other things.

Jazzit Dude, the ratio’s only take up 1/3 of the page, so they should show 2 per page. But, they do not even though they clearly can fit and I do not have the ability to remove the keep together or page break. I also do not have the ability to remove the page break that is shown after the signature field.

My request is straight forward: please provide purchasers with full editing rights to the template (since it is, after all, a template).

Hi everyone,

Over the last couple weeks I have been working directly with the design team at Jazzit related to my above query. I am happy to report that they have resolved the issues relating to adding cells, moving the signature line and removing page breaks.

Further, they have gone above and beyond my expectations and I am really astonished by the level of service and attention to details they provided.

I really encourage anyone to reach out to the team if they are having troubles. Thank you Lori and the design team at Jazzit! I highly recommend the Score product, as it now has great flexibility and customization options.

Thank you for providing us feedback regarding our SCORE template. We now have completed a number of changes to the product and these revisions are currently in testing. We expect this update to be released early February.

The changes include:

  1. Option to select either the pre-formatted management report or a generic report (with opening and closing text as well as a customizable performance summary)

  2. Option to turn off page breaks above each of the ratios (plus a global all page breaks on/off button)

  3. Option to position the conclusion paragraph and signature block at either end of letter or after the ratios.

  4. New section for working capital

  5. Option to update individual ratios from Resource Centre (JZBM)

  6. Option to show data table below graphs

  7. Selected industry and benchmarks are retained when SCORE is updated from Resource Centre (JZBM)
